This week in the Detroit Church of Christ, Olumide Faulkner, visiting from the Kalamazoo Church, shares the lesson 'A Deceitful Heart to God'. Reading from Acts 5, Olumide helps us understand the story of Ananias and Sapphira, a couple in the early church. We see how their actions were not just deceitful to the people around them, but to God. They conspired to test the Holy Spirit. Olumide's challenge: Be honest to both people and God. Do not test God, deal with hidden sin before it is too late.
