He outlines how we often believe prayer is intuitive but it is not. He challenges us to carefully examine our actual needs and to be specific in our prayers. How when we pray for other people, we have to be thoughtful as to what do they really need. He reminds us that we must be faithful in God in order for Him to answer our prayers.
