This week in the Detroit Church of Christ, Andrew Elliott, shares the lesson 'Acts of the Spirit'. Reading from the book of Acts, we see Peter's explanation to the crowd gathered in the first part of Acts. That this is the 'end times' written about; the time for the out pouring of the Holy Spirit. Andrew's lesson helps us understand how we should not treat the Bible like a rule book, but rely on the forgiveness and gift of God. That we will never fully understand our guilt and regrets without understanding the guilt that Jesus took on for us. That the gift is not a balanced scale, but its unbalanced love.
