This week in the Detroit Church of Christ, Abraham Rajkumar, visiting from the church in Bangalore India, shares the lesson 'Partners in the Gospel'. We see in Philippians chapter 1, how the apostle Paul shared that the work was difficult but he was grateful for the partnership with the other disciples in the church. Abraham helps us understand that without partnerships, the gospel work is not sustainable. How partnerships with others are a providence from God. Paul speaks of praying for the Philippians with joy. Abraham’s challenge to us: To focus on our partnerships through prayer, to remember that progress comes through perseverance, and that through our hardships God is advancing the gospel.
