Kyle helps us to see that the story of the Prodigal Son is about both sons; that the story of the older son is the real story; that there is more than one kind of wandering but only one result. How our ‘goodness’ can mask our true motives, blinding us from the truth about ourselves. We must obey for the right reasons focusing on our relationship to God and that alone is our reward.
