Ask a group of women what the hardest role in marriage is; they would probably say that being submissive is the most difficult. What we as wives need to know is that the corresponding role of leadership in the home is not an easy task for husbands.
In today’s world, we can feel pulled in many directions – family, children’s homework, ministry, cooking dinner, discipling times, careers…. We “know” God is there. We “know” he’s faithful.

The 2010 Steps of the Apostles Tour embarks next October. 64 married and single disciples from Ghana, Dubai, Canada, Barbados and the US are already signed up for the next Steps of the Apostles Tour that will include the Steps of Jesus in Israel! The October 5-18, 2010 tour will visit Rome, Italy; Athens, Greece; Ephesus, Turkey; Alexandria and Cairo, Egypt as well as Jerusalem, the Sea of Galilee and more in Israel.

We wanted to encourage everyone as we close out our first official year here in Clemson! One year ago this month Stacey and I moved to Clemson to help get the church and a new campus ministry started in this wonderful community.
God is at work in the New York City Church of Christ. On a cold, rainy Sunday December 13th, some 3,300 people gathered at the Jacob Javitz Convention Center in the heart of New York City to worship God.

What started as a plan to take our family group of 16 for a weekend get away became a Singles Retreat of over 60 disciples and friends from different Emirates of the UAE and Qatar, Bahrain and Kuwait.
For the eighth year, a chorus of Dubai disciples are caroling their way around Dubai, raising money for HOPE Worldwide in Manila.

The end of last year was a busy time for the leaders of the church in Bujumbura, the capital city of the eastern African nation of Burundi. Anticipating a great following year, it was a time of planning and this kicked off with the launch of our strategic plan. This exercise was overseen by Nairobi-based Evangelist George Irungu and his wife Ann, who oversee our church.
